Purpose

A community of trust

The PRISM Leadership Circle brings together leading LGBTQ+ corporate directors, each with at least five years of service on public or large private company boards. It exists first for its members: to know one another well, to compare notes on what they see in their boardrooms, and to draw on each other's experience.

How members meet

Over private dinners, small in-person gatherings and conversations online. The Circle formally launches with its first convening in 2027.

Visibility

Standing behind PRISM

Members lend their name and voice to PRISM's mission and work. Their visibility shows companies, investors and the governance community that board excellence and LGBTQ+ inclusion belong in the same conversation.

Expertise

Sharing expertise, by choice

Where they wish, members also share their experience more directly:

  • Speaking at PRISM events and conversations
  • Mentoring directors earlier in their board careers
  • Making introductions for board-ready leaders

The details

How the Circle works

  • Informal and non-fiduciary, with no fiduciary duties, quotas or operational responsibilities.
  • Separate from PRISM's governing board, although several members serve on both.
  • By invitation of PRISM's board chair, for directors with at least five years of service on public or large private company boards.
  • Announced at the 4th Annual PRISM Summit on October 26, 2026, with a first convening in 2027.
